I think that Spiegelman and Safran Foer shared very similar writing styles in the sense that they really tried hard to connect with the reader. Obviously, Spiegelman tried to connect by writing out his book in visuals, which made me want to read and also stay interested. Safran Foer had very detailed and gruesome stories that really made me think about my decisions. However, I don’t think that Carr did a good job to connect with the reader at all. Carr mainly just presented facts, and there were many times were he provided examples but overall I don’t think that he did a good job connecting wit the reader.
